The first image is showing a sad looking beast. the second image is of the cartoon iron giant looking fascinated by the birds around him. i love the first image of the beast beacause its a plain image like the monsters feelings. the iron giant image i love because i watched the cartoon when i was younger, the background Jim has used pale light colours and for iron giant he has used strong bold colours. the first image has been produced by using cintiq inking, Jim Zubkavich had drawn it out first then placed cintiq ink on his work. for the second image Jim Zubkavich used manga studio and photo shop.
